He is, what I would term as a "Maverick" economist....he does not analyze world events to think of their impact today, he thinks of their impact "tomorrow", which we tend to miss many a times.More importantly, he analyzes world events in totality and provides his opinions, quite boldly to say the least, for the truely long term capitalists like me (what can I say ...I am an Investment Banker and rest my case there !). I have always read his blog "Collections of Thoughts" with eagerness, hoping to learn something from it every time and I have never been disappointed.
